A book written by schoolchildren from Baku has been published.

At the beginning of this year, with the organizational support of the Executive Power of Baku City, traditional scientific and practical conferences were held among schoolchildren of the capital on the topic “Heydar Aliyev and the History of Azerbaijan.” At these conferences, students presented their scientific articles on various periods of the history of Azerbaijan. At the final conference, it was decided that the best works from the districts of the city would be selected and published in book form. Another book "Heydar Aliyev and the History of Azerbaijan" has been published today, dedicated to the topics announced by the Executive Power of Baku City.
At the beginning of the presentation ceremony, held in the executive authority of Baku with the participation of senior staff members, winners selected from among schoolchildren, their academic supervisors, heads of a number of schools, media representatives and students themselves, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and our shehids who fell for the freedom and territorial integrity of our lands, their memory is forever immortalized.
Speaking at the presentation, Elmin Imanov, the head of the Department for Socio-political, humanitarian affairs and work with religious structures of the Executive Power of Baku City, noted that every time exploring the history of Azerbaijan, one better understands the phenomenon of the genius of Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev. There are many outstanding personalities in the history of Azerbaijan, but the place of Heydar Aliyev in our history is unparalleled.
The conference was attended by Shafa Gurbanova, director of school No. 135 in Binagadi district, Gunai Allahverdiyeva, history teacher at school No. 247 in Nasimi district, Sarah Mehdiyeva, a student at school No. 29 in Khatai district, and others who expressed great interest in this project. It was noted that at these conferences, which are traditional and annually involve thousands of students, students present their scientific articles about various periods of the history of Azerbaijan, including the role of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan, about the glorious victory in the Patriotic War. And this book eventually saw the light of day.
In general, the essays of the winning students from each district of the capital, which were attended by more than 3,000 students covering more than 300 secondary schools in Baku, were included in a new book published with the support of the Executive Power of Baku City.
This competition is traditional in nature and it is planned to be held in the following years.
