A new tree planting campaign was held in the capital
In connection with the 102nd anniversary of the birth of the National Leader of our people Heydar Aliyev, a tree planting campaign was organized in the “Ganjlik” park in the Khatai district of the capital, jointly organized by the Baku City Executive Power and the “Regional Development” Public Union. The leadership of the Baku City Executive Power, employees and employees of structural units, and volunteers of the Regional Development and Urban Development Authority participated in the campaign.
The area where the campaign was held was cleaned of waste by the participants and 500 new trees were planted here, suitable for the soil and climatic conditions of the Absheron Peninsula.
The tree planting campaign is a continuation of the work carried out in Baku to plant drought-resistant plants, trees and shrubs suitable for the local climate, as well as to restore the ecological balance in the capital and beautify the area.
It should be noted that irrigation issues have been resolved and those responsible have been identified for future care of the planted trees.
It is planned to continue the work on greening, maintenance of greenery and improvement of Baku city throughout the year.
