A tree planting action was held with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva
On April 16, within the framework of the “year of solidarity for the Green world” with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of “IDEA” Public Union, a tree-planting action was held in a vacant lot located at the intersection of Mikayil Aliyev and Kamil Balakishiyev streets, Nizami district, Baku City. The area in question was regularly polluted by building materials and household waste. At the initiative of the” IDEA " Public Union, the area was cleared of waste with the participation of volunteers and recultivated by pouring the soil layer.
Unfortunately, today the air layer in our capital is polluted by waste generated during road transport, production and consumer activities, dust and other foreign substances contained in the air harm human health and the entire ecological balance. Forest strip laying and landscaping activities have a positive effect on restoring ecological balance and improving air quality.
The area of the forest Strip is about 2 hectares during this campaign, which took place with the participation of Leyla Aliyeva. During the action, 500 Eldar Pines, cypresses, tuya, Acacia, olive trees were planted and landscaping work was carried out. In this area, it is planned to use a drip irrigation system for effective tree irrigation and Prevention of water waste.
