The main goal of the project” Our Yard " is aimed at preserving ecologically clean and well-maintained courtyards, restoring green spaces, creating a favorable recreation environment, creating safe and comfortable living conditions for residents of the capital. Comfortable movements of people with disabilities are taken into account in the landscaped courtyards, in order to create favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, effectively organize youth leisure and stimulate their interest in sports, a football stadium with artificial turf, a chess court are located on the territory, various sports facilities and playgrounds for children are built. At the same time, 5 gazebos, numerous seating areas, bird nests and cat houses are installed in the courtyards. In addition, new lighting poles and surveillance cameras have been installed in the courtyards, facades and building blocks have been completely repaired, asphalt and roofing have been updated, and power lines have been re-laid.
Along with the restoration of existing green spaces, 1,680 different types of trees and 19,256 shrubs were planted in the courtyards, and a green strip was installed on an area of 8,549 square meters. In addition, ordinary ivy and other plants were planted around the yard to prevent air pollution and create “green barriers".
