Another cleaning action was held on the shores of the Caspian Sea
On the eve of the beach season, a coastal cleaning action was held in the Sabunchu District of the capital, aimed at promoting the observance of environmental cleanliness by citizens, preventing littering of territories with household waste that play a special role in the country's biodiversity and serving people to make efforts for the protection of nature. Employees of the bodies and volunteers of the Public Union participated in this cleaning action aimed at cleaning and restoration of polluted coastal areas serving to protect the biodiversity of the Caspian Sea, jointly organized by the Sabunchu District Executive Power and the “Regional Development” Public Union. The action was organized on a public beach in Pirshagi settlement. During the Subbotnik, the participants of the action, equipped with the necessary sanitary equipment, cleared the territory of a large number of waste, especially plastic waste, which caused constant damage, and about 2 tons of waste collected were transferred to the balakhani solid waste sorting plant of “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC.
