Another Internal Community Cleanup Day Held in the Capital

As a result of the successful policy implemented by the head of state, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and the growing attention and care dedicated to our capital, the city of Baku is developing and becoming more beautiful day by day. This is particularly noted by city residents and the numerous foreign guests visiting our capital, who also highly emphasize the cleanliness of the city. The flowers planted and the beautiful compositions created in parks, along streets, and on avenues are pleasing to the eye and add a special charm to Baku.

In order to preserve and enhance this cleanliness and beauty, the Baku City Executive Power regularly organizes internal community cleanup days in the capital. To further elevate the city's sanitary and cleanliness standards, another internal cleanup day was held on July 11.

During the cleanup day, along with the avenues and streets in the city center, the streets of the capital's suburban settlements were also washed, and extensive cleaning operations were carried out. Starting from the morning hours, the machinery of the Baku City Executive Power's Communal Services washed the streets using cleaning detergents that are harmless to plants and wildlife.

Additionally, the edges of pavements, curbs, light poles, railings, and benches in parks and recreational areas were washed, and cleaning activities were conducted in courtyards and residential neighborhoods. The storefronts of catering, commercial, and other facilities along the roadsides were cleaned, and tidying-up work was carried out in their surroundings.

Employees of the Baku City Greenery Association also washed away the dust and dirt accumulated on trees and green spaces along roads and avenues during the day, provided agro-technical care, and pruned damaged branches. At the same time, colorful flowers were planted, and compositions were created using flowers of various colors.

Overall, the large-scale cleaning operations covering all districts of the capital have contributed to further improving the sanitary condition of Baku city.
