Baku City Executive Power and “Regional Development” Public Union marks 5th anniversary of cooperation

On the occasion of the 5th anniversary of the memorandum of cooperation signed between Baku City executive power and “Regional Development” Public Union, an event was held in Baku City executive power on December 22. The event was attended by representatives of Baku City executive power and “Regional Development” Public Union, as well as volunteers active in the activities carried out within the framework of cooperation. At the event dedicated to the results of the work done over five years, the results of joint activities and future prospects were discussed. In the speeches at the event, it was noted that today, as a result of the multifaceted policy of Mr. President, our country is developing rapidly in all directions, and this development is reflected in the joint successful cooperation between institutions. In addition, the participants of the event took the opportunity to congratulate Mr. President on his birthday and expressed their deep gratitude for the glorious victories and successes achieved. It was also emphasized that the active participation of volunteers of the” Regional Development " Public Union plays an important role in strengthening public control in the capital and protecting the urban environment more effectively. Then, a video clip on the results of 10 years of activity of” Regional Development " Public Union and the work done jointly with Baku City executive power for 5 years was demonstrated. At the end of the event, the employees of the Baku City executive power and the “Regional Development” Public Union, who were distinguished for their special activity during the period of cooperation, were presented letters of gratitude. It should be noted that this model of cooperation established between the Baku City executive power and the “Regional Development” Public Union serves to turn the capital into a more prosperous, safe and green city, and it is planned to continue joint activities in the future. Within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation, consistent and purposeful measures were taken in the field of strengthening public control, protecting the urban environment, landscaping and cleaning in the capital over the past 5 years. As a result of the joint activities, monitoring was carried out in various areas of the city, the existing problems were identified and coordinated work was carried out with the relevant authorities to eliminate them. Joint monitoring was carried out mainly on streets and avenues, residential areas, as well as in parks and green areas. As a result of the monitoring, specific proposals on improving urban infrastructure, restoring sidewalks and roads, protecting parks and green areas were prepared and implemented. In particular, as part of the work carried out to protect and restore greenery, dried and damaged trees were identified and new trees were planted to replace them. More than 100 thousand trees were planted and agrotechnical care was provided during the actions held jointly with the Volunteers of the” Regional Development " Public Union.
