Baku City Executive Power holds traditional scientific-practical conference

A scientific-practical conference on the topic "Heydar Aliyev and the History of Azerbaijan" dedicated to the 102nd birthday of the National Leader of the Azerbaijan was held at the Baku City Executive Power.
This conference, which was held among the capital's schoolchildren and became traditional, was attended by the administration of the Baku City Executive Power and employees of the apparatus, schoolchildren elected as winners at the conferences held in the capital's districts, and media representatives.
At the beginning of the event, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of our Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The reports of young researchers were heard at the conference conducted by the students themselves. It was noted at the conference that this competition, which increases schoolchildren's interest in studying the history of Azerbaijan in more depth, is traditional and thousands of schoolchildren participate in this competition every year.
More than 300 schools and more than 3500 pupils of Baku participated in this year's competition with their abstracts. About 80 of the abstracts will be selected by the commission and included in the new book, which will be published with the support of the Baku City Executive Power.
It was noted that as a result of the policy pursued by the head of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is experiencing the happiest days in the world during its rich and centuries-old history.
It was noted that at the conferences held in the capital's districts, students made speeches with their scientific articles on the period from the most ancient times of the history of Azerbaijan to the present day, including the role of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan. A special place in this year's competition was also given to the glorious victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, antirerror events, the raising of the national flag of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Khojaly, Aghdere, Khojavand and other topics.
