Baku City Executive Power hosted a traditional scientific-practical conference on "Heydar Aliyev and history of Azerbaijan."

A scientific-practical conference on “Heydar Aliyev and the history of Azerbaijan” dedicated to the 101st birthday of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev was held in Baku City executive power. This conference, which was held among the capital's schoolchildren and became Traditional, was attended by the administration of the Baku City Executive Power and employees of the apparatus, schoolchildren elected as winners at the conferences held in the capital's districts, and media representatives.

At the beginning of the event, the memory of the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who died for the freedom and territorial integrity of our Motherland was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Welcoming the participants of the conference, the head of the Baku City executive power Eldar Azizov said that our people are living the most worthy days of their very thousand history today. This is the result of the policy and personality factor of our President Ilham Aliyev.

It was noted that at the conferences held in the capital's districts, students made speeches with their scientific articles on the period from the most ancient times of the history of Azerbaijan to the present day, including the role of great leader Heydar Aliyev and President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in the history of Azerbaijan. A special place in this year's competition was also given to the glorious victory in the 44-day Patriotic War, last year's antirerror events, the raising of the national flag of Azerbaijan in Khankendi, Khojaly, Aghdere, Khojavand and the military parade in Khankendi.

The reports of young researchers were heard at the conference conducted by the students themselves. It was noted at the conference that this competition, which increases the interest of schoolchildren to a deeper study of the history of Azerbaijan, is traditional in nature and thousands of schoolchildren take part in it every year. More than 300 schools and more than 2700 pupils of Baku participated in this year's competition with their abstracts. 60 of the abstracts will be selected by the commission and included in the new book, which will be published with the support of the Baku City Executive Power.
