Baku City Executive Power presents new book

A presentation of a new book "The History of the Patriotic War, the Restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the Personality Factor" was held with the participation of famous historical scientists, deputies, scientists, cultural figures and clergy, journalists, veterans of the Patriotic War and veterans of the Executive Power of Baku. Speaking at the presentation ceremony, the head of the Baku City Executive Power Eldar Azizov said that today we can say with confidence that the economic and political model of the Azerbaijani state created by the head of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev has fully justified itself.

It was noted that the new book, prepared jointly with the Baku City Executive Power and the Institute of history of ANAS, published as a continuation of the previous book dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War, was devoted to very important events in Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War.

The book "The History of the Patriotic War, the Restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, the Personality Factor" reflects very important historical events such as restoration of sovereignty of our country as a result of one-day anti-terrorist operation, erection of our state flag in Khankandi, Agdera, Askeran, Khojavand, historical military parade in Khankandi, large-scale construction of works that carried out in the liberated territories,  the return of former internally displaced persons to their homelands in accordance with the Great Return Program. The book, which contains articles by a panel of influential authors, is published in a very elegant format.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, President of ANAS, academician Isa Habibbeyli, Chairwoman of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children's Issues Bahar Muradova, Commissioner for Human Rights-Ombudsman of the Republic of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva, Member of the Milli Majlis Elman Nasirov, Chairman of the Union of Architects of Azerbaijan Elbay Gasimzadeh and others noted the importance of the newly published book and emphasized that this publication will play an important role in the analysis of the realities of the war and the achievements achieved in the subsequent period and in the wide dissemination of their correct transmission to future generations.
