Baku City representatives attended events dedicated to the 958th anniversary of Minsk
The delegation of the Baku City Executive Power took part in the events dedicated to the 958th anniversary of the capital of Belarus, Minsk. During the visit, deputy head of the Baku City executive power Ayaz Huseynov met with Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee Oleg Korzun.
The sides discussed cooperation areas of mutual interest, including urban economy, environmental safety and waste management.
Oleg Korzun highly appreciated the development of the city of Baku, the level of improvement and cleanliness. He noted that he was especially aware of the success of projects in the field of collection, transportation and sorting of solid waste in Baku and expressed interest in studying this experience.
Ayaz Huseynov stressed that as a result of the successful policy of the head of state Mr. Ilham Aliyev, Baku is developing, large-scale construction and landscaping work is being carried out in the city. Today, the strengthening of relations between Azerbaijan and Belarus is the result of the political will of the leaders of both countries. He also noted that the solid waste sorting project implemented in Baku on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev is being successfully implemented and they are ready to share Baku's experience in this area.
