Baku Was Washed Once Again
On July 25, the Baku City Executive Power conducted another internal community cleanup across the capital to further improve the sanitary and cleanliness standards of Baku during the summer season.
During the cleanup, along with the avenues and streets in the city center, the streets of outer suburban settlements were also washed, and comprehensive cleaning work was carried out. From the early morning hours, machinery from the Baku City Executive Power Communal Services used eco- and wildlife-friendly cleaning agents to wash the streets.
Additionally, the sides of sidewalks, curbs, light poles, railings, and benches in parks and recreational areas were washed, and cleaning operations were conducted in residential yards and neighborhoods. The storefronts of catering, commercial, and other establishments along the roadsides were cleaned, and the surrounding areas were tidied up.
Throughout the day, employees of the Baku Greening Utility Association washed off dust and dirt gathered on trees and green spaces along roads and avenues, provided agro-technical care, and pruned damaged branches. At the same time, colorful flowers were planted, and various floral compositions were created.
All in all, this large-scale cleaning effort covering all districts of the capital contributed to further enhancing the sanitary conditions of Baku.
