Baku schoolchildren continue excursions to the National Museum of history of Azerbaijan
With the support of the Baku City Executive Power, pupils of two secondary schools of the capital were organized an excursion to the National Museum of history of Azerbaijan. This time the excursion included Secondary School No. 189-190 of Sabail district and students of technical and humanitarian Sciences Lyceum No. 2 named after H.Mahmudbeyov attended the event.
The main purpose of the event is to effectively organize the leisure of schoolchildren, as well as to develop their worldview, to raise the level of knowledge about the ancient history, cultural heritage, national and spiritual values of our people, to acquaint schoolchildren with museum expositions and exhibitions.
Experienced guides familiarized schoolchildren with the exposition of the museum, various archaeological and ethnographic materials and exhibits reflecting the period from the past of Azerbaijan to the present day.During the excursion, to schoolchildren were shown documents from the exposition dedicated to our glorious victory in the Patriotic War, personal belongings of our compatriots who died for the motherland, and various military attributes. There was a discussion of the book “The History of the Patriotic War – the personal factor”, which is a joint project of the Institute of History named after Bakikhanov and Baku city Executive Power.
The students left the museum under a pleasant impression.
