Cleaning works carried out on the beach on the Caspian coast on the eve of summer season
On the eve of the beach season, a coastal cleaning campaign was held in the Khazar District of the capital. Employees of the organizations and volunteers of the public Union participated in this cleaning action aimed at cleaning and restoration of polluted coastal areas, which serves to protect the biodiversity of the Caspian Sea, jointly organized by the executive power of the Khazar region and the “Regional Development” Public Union. The action was organized on a public beach in Shuvalan settlement. During the Subbotnik, the participants of the action, equipped with the necessary sanitary equipment, cleared the territory of a large number of waste, especially plastic waste, which caused constant damage, and 2 tons of waste collected were transferred to the balakhani solid waste sorting plant of “Tamiz Shahar” OJSC. The main purpose of the event is to promote the observance of environmental cleanliness by society, to prevent littering of territories with household waste, which have a special role in the country's biodiversity, and to involve people in efforts to protect nature.
