Eldar Azizov Listens to Residents’ Concerns in Bilajari

In accordance with the instruction of the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, to hold on-site meetings between heads of state institutions and the public, the head of the Baku City Executive Authority, Eldar Azizov, met with residents of the Bilajari settlement of Binagadi district.

The meeting, attended by up to 400 Bilajari residents, was organized to identify and address the settlement’s issues. Alongside Eldar Azizov, the head of the Binagadi District Executive Power Elkhan Allahverdiyev, as well as heads of economic and public service departments of both Baku City and Binagadi district, listened to residents’ appeals.
In his speech, Eldar Azizov stated that, as a result of the policy pursued by the country’s leader, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijan is currently experiencing one of the happiest periods in its rich, centuries-old history.
Following this, the representative of the Binagadi District Executive Power for the Bilajari settlement, A. Agamaliyev, gave a report on the work carried out in the area.
The meeting, held in an “open microphone” format and characterized by active resident participation, featured speeches and appeals from more than 30 residents. They expressed gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev and First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva for the development efforts in both Baku and Bilajari.
The residents’ applications mostly concerned the legalization of individual housing, renewal of water and sewage lines, repair and lighting of inner roads, employment issues, renovation of deteriorated buildings and roofs, replacement of outdated elevators, allocation of land for a new cemetery, and transportation services.
Some of the issues raised were resolved on the spot. Relevant instructions were given for others, and all appeals and proposals were taken under control.
