Exhibition of young artists held in Central Botanical Garden
In recent years, thanks to the attention and care of the head of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, great importance is attached to the enrichment of Baku with new recreation parks and the transformation of our capital into a green city. Against the background of the global environmental crisis, along with the preservation of the antiquity of cities, large-scale measures are being taken in the capital to modernize and protect the environment, solve problems. Thus, the Central Botanical Garden, which was commissioned in the center of our capital after major repair and reconstruction, has become a favorite place for walking and recreation for residents and guests of the city. The mass events and excursions organized here make the park more attractive to people. In connection with the 103rd anniversary of the national leader of our people Heydar Aliyev, an exhibition-competition on the theme “I am proud that I am Azerbaijani” jointly organized by the humanitarian Department of the Baku City executive power, the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts and the Central Botanical Garden was dedicated to the memory of the Great Leader. At the beginning of the event, a concert program was presented by the orchestra of the Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Society. At the exhibition, which was held with the participation of teachers and students of the Academy of Arts, young artists, representatives of the public, paintings, sculptures and carpet weaving works of 25 students of the Academy were demonstrated. Elmin Imanov, head of the Department of Baku City Executive Power, Ali Jafarov, director of the Central Botanical Garden, Salhab Mammadov, vice-rector of the Academy of Arts, people's artist, Aygun Khanaliyeva, student of the Academy, noted the importance of the exhibition and competition, its interest among young artists, and play a great role in increasing the interest of teenagers and young The works of painting, sculpture and carpet weaving exhibited at the exhibition were evaluated by the jury of the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts and the winners of the first three places were determined. Jahan Musayeva took first place, Aydan Gurbanova took second place and Narmin Nadirova took third place. The winners of the exhibition were awarded cash prizes and certificates, and other participants were given encouraging gifts.
