Exhibition of young artists held in New Park

In recent years, thanks to the attention and care of the head of the country, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, great importance is attached to the enrichment of Baku with new recreation parks and the transformation of our capital into a green city. Against the background of the global environmental crisis, along with the preservation of the antiquity of cities, large-scale measures are being taken in the capital to modernize and protect the environment, solve problems. The new park, which was commissioned a few months ago near the metro station “Ganjlik”, has already become a favorite place for walking and recreation for residents and guests of the city. The mass events and concerts held here make the park more attractive for young people. The event-exhibition “new park through the eyes of young artists”, organized jointly by the humanitarian Department of the Baku City executive power, the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts and the Regional Development Public Union, is dedicated to this new park of Baku, which is becoming more beautiful day by day and is called the city of parks. More than 40 handicrafts dedicated to the new park were demonstrated at the exhibition with the participation of teachers and students of the Academy of Arts, young artists, volunteers of the “Regional Development” Public Union, and representatives of the public. Elmin Imanov, head of the Department of Baku City executive power, Natig Aliyev, rector of the Academy of Arts, people's artist, Agshin Orujlu, head of the Department of Regional Development Public Union, Salhab Mammadov, vice-rector of the Academy, Sevinj Ganjaliyeva, young artist spoke about the importance of the exhibition, its interest among young artists, highlighting the peculiarities of the park in The paintings were evaluated by the jury of the Azerbaijan Academy of Arts and the winners of the first three places were determined — Fatima Aliyeva took first place, Leylahon Nurmetova took second place and Sevinj Ganjaliyeva, Nigar Gasimova, Aydan Gurbanova and Narin Zeynalabduyeva took third place. The winners of the exhibition were awarded cash prizes and certificates, and other participants were awarded certificates.
