Extensive Cleaning Work Conducted Again in the Capital

Recently, extensive improvement and construction works have been carried out in the capital, resulting in the cleaning of dust spreading along streets, roadsides, courtyards, and neighborhoods, with the aim of further enhancing the level of sanitary cleanliness of the city and maintaining existing greenery. The Baku City Executive Power organized the next large-scale city-wide cleanup on Saturday, August 10.

Starting from the morning hours, the technical services of the Baku City Executive Power’s communal services department washed the main streets and avenues with cleaning agents that are harmless to plants and living beings. During the cleanup, inner courtyard roads and alleyways were also washed. The service staff cleaned the streets, sidewalks, curbs, and streetlights, as well as the railings along the roads, benches in parks, and recreation areas. Additionally, cleanliness was ensured in courtyards and residential neighborhoods.

Institutions, enterprises, and organizations that responded to the call of the Baku City Executive Power, as well as employees of public catering, trade, and other facilities, actively participated in the cleanup by cleaning their showcases and tidying the surroundings. At the same time, city residents also participated actively in the cleanup by cleaning the windows of their apartments and the courtyards of buildings.

The staff of the Baku City Greenery Economy Union washed off the dust and soil accumulated on the trees along the main roads and avenues, loosened the soil around the trees, provided agro-technical care, and applied natural fertilizers to the trees and green areas. In addition, colorful flowers that will delight the city’s residents and guests are being planted, various flower compositions are being created, and the lawns in green areas and parks are being renewed.

All necessary measures will continue to be taken to maintain the capital’s sanitary cleanliness at the required level and to protect the greenery.
