Foundation of” Uzbekistan " Park laid in Baku
President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev laid the foundation of the park “Uzbekistan” in Baku on July 2. Park "Uzbekistan" is a large-scale cultural and recreational project. A unique environment will be created here, which will reflect the rich history, architecture and culture of Uzbekistan, including Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva and Kokand regions. The park, whose area will be 5 hectares, will be laid out in the form of a map of Uzbekistan. There will also be a museum, a cinema, an amphitheater, a tower, restaurants and cafes, a shopping area, souvenir and gift shops, a zoo and a hotel. The main objects of the park will be examples of architecture in Bukhara, Samarkand and Khiva. It should be noted that this park, which will be built in the “Baku White City”, is a symbol of brotherhood and friendship between the states and peoples of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. With the construction of this park, the cultural ties of our peoples will be further strengthened. Then President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited “Baku White City”.
