Heavy rains have caused complications in Baku: institutions are working in an enhanced mode Starting from April 4, intensive rainy weather continues in the country. According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, mainly in Baku and Absheron Peninsula on April 5-6, the amount of precipitation was recorded by 90 mm, which is 390% of the monthly norm. The rains caused a number of complications. Nowadays, Baku City executive power and its subordinate structures, heads of district executive power and their apparatus are working in enhanced mode. Flooding is also observed in areas of the suburbs of Baku where there is no sewage system. In those places, the city's public utilities use special means to draw rainwater and, if necessary, evacuate people. Water pumps, special technical devices and heavy equipment were involved in the areas. The rain has also damaged the environment. Thus, from the evening of April 5 to the morning of April 6, there were also cases of logging as a result of the wind, accompanied by intense rain. In this regard, the operational groups of the Baku City Greening Farm Association provide uninterrupted service. The employees of the Union came to the areas where there was a call, ensured the removal of fallen trees and took the necessary measures. In connection with the situation, the monitoring group of the ICRC is working in the places. They identify areas of water accumulation, problem addresses, and inform the relevant authorities. Thus, all responsible bodies of the city of Baku are working in a coordinated manner to eliminate the consequences caused by heavy rain.
