“History of the Patriotic War. Presentation of the book "restoration of territorial integrity of Azerbaijan-personality factor" in English and Russian

A joint project of the Baku City executive power and the Institute of history of Anas “history of the Patriotic War. The presentation of the 2nd volume of the new book entitled” restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan – the personality factor " was held at the Baku Book Center with the participation of representatives of the scientific and educational community, students of higher schools of the capital in English and Russian. Welcoming the participants of the event, director of the Baku Book Center Gunel Anar gizi shared his impressions about the book and spoke about the importance of the new book, and congratulated Mr. President on his birthday on behalf of the youth and participants of the event. Head of the Department of Baku City executive power Elmin Imanov emphasized that the achievement of a glorious victory and the great work carried out in the country in subsequent years became possible thanks to the genius intellect, wise military ability and unshakable will of the head of the country Ilham Aliyev. A.A.General Director of the Institute of history named after bakikhanov, Professor Karim Shukurov said that the book, which was published as a continuation of the first book dedicated to the 44-day Patriotic War and has already been translated into 11 languages, is dedicated to very important historical events in Azerbaijan during the Patriotic War. Young activist Eldar Azizov, veteran of the Patriotic War Shamsaddin Gurbanov, UNEC student of Azerbaijan State University of Economics Davud Sheydayev and others emphasized in their speeches that this publication will play an important role in properly conveying the truth of the war and the achievements gained in the subsequent period to numerous readers abroad. Speaking on behalf of Azerbaijani students studying abroad, young activist Eldar Azizov stressed that we, young people studying outside the country, always feel the support of our President, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and now we understand his genius more closely. We are proud of our president and express our deep gratitude to him for the conditions created for our education abroad. Both publications will be presented to various foreign countries, the Russian-speaking audience of Possovet States and Eastern Europe, as well as, as in the first edition, to various higher education institutions, libraries and leading information media around the world. Thus, English and Russian-speaking audiences abroad will receive more detailed information about the creative work carried out in Azerbaijan after the second Karabakh War.
