House-Museum of people's poet Rasul RZA opened in Baku
On May 31, a solemn opening ceremony of the House-Museum of the prominent representative of Azerbaijani literature, people's poet Rasul RZA was held in Baku. At the event, the archive material - the poem “The trouble of the world”, which was first recorded in the performance of Rasul RZA, was performed. Speaking at the ceremony, people's writer Anar Rzayev spoke about how the idea of creating the museum was formed, talked about the life and work of Rasul RZA. Minister of culture Adil Karimli emphasized the role of house-museums in preserving the cultural memory of the people. He said that the House-Museum of Rasul RZA was founded by the Order of President Ilham Aliyev dated 2022, officially established in 2023 and put into public use today. It was noted that Rasul RZA's House-Museum in Goychay was established in 2004. "This house-museum will more fully convey the heritage of the great artist to future generations. The memories of Rasul RZA and his wife, the well-known poetess Nigar Rafibeyli were commemorated on this occasion. It is possible to hear their breath in each exhibit. We are proud that at the presentation of the people's writer Anar, we traveled to the subtleties of the life path of Rasul RZA” " said A.Karimli added. People's artist, diplomat Polad Bulbuloglu shared his memories of Rasul Rza. Recalling the song he composed to the words of Rasul RZA many years ago, he said that this house evokes nostalgic feelings for him. Polad Bulbuloglu said that keeping the memory of outstanding Azerbaijani artists has become an indispensable part of state policy. People's poet Sabir Rustamkhanli said the opening of the house-museum was an important stage in the literary and cultural life of Azerbaijan: “Rasul RZA's creativity has become a new breath, a new direction in World Poetry, and his legacy will show the way to our literature for many years to come.” Director of the National Museum of Azerbaijani Literature named after Nizami Ganjavi, academician Rafael Huseynov noted the importance of Rasul RZA not only as a poet, but also as a person who created a whole school of spirituality. Recalling the poem” I opened my window to tomorrow", he noted that the architectural structure of the house is in harmony with this poem. The secretary of the Union of writers of Azerbaijan, poet Salim Babullaoglu emphasized the innovative thinking of the people's writer in literature, bringing new approaches to classical topics: “Rasul RZA also had great services in other areas of culture - cinema and music. With his initiative and support, new films were shot and a symphony orchestra was created.” Rasul RZA's family members expressed their feelings of joy and pride. A letter of gratitude from Zemfira Safarova, wife of Anar Rzayev, was read by her grandson. The event continued with the artistic part. People's artist Samir Jafarov sang the songs “you don't stay too” composed to the words of Rasul RZA, Honored artist Ramil Gasimov sang the “Golden Ring”, and the student of the children and Youth Development Center No. 3 in Baku sang the poet's poem “Chinar”. At the end, the guests got acquainted with the House-Museum.
