"IDEA" opened a renovated residential park in the framework of "Bizim Həyət" project in Sabunchu District of the capital

Within the framework of ” year of solidarity for the green world“, on April 5, following the initiative of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of the” IDEA “Public Union Leyla Aliyeva, the next redidential park  was given to the use of residents. The renovated yard covers multi-storey buildings in Baku City, Sabunchu district, Bakikhanov settlement, Sulh Street, 4090/94 block, House 3, House 1/1, House 2/7 with 820 residents.

The main goal of the project” Bizim Həyət" is to make the courtyards ecologically clean and prosperous in the country, restore the greenery that forms the pillar of urban ecology, form a healthy lifestyle, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents. In the next yard, comfortable movement of people with disabilities and disabilities was taken into account, creating favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, effective leisure of young people and creating a reflex to engage in systematic sports in the territory, a mini-football stadium with artificial turf, a chess Field, various sports facilities, playgrounds were laid out. At the same time, 3 chat rooms, numerous seats, waste bins, bird nests and cat houses were installed on the territory.

Taking into account the wishes and interests of residents, new lighting poles, surveillance cameras were installed in the yard, facades and blocks of buildings were completely repaired, asphalt and roofing were updated, and the electrical system was reconstructed.

Along with the restoration of the existing greenery in the yard, 219 different types of trees, 5,500 shrubs and 2,000 seasonal flowers were planted, and a green strip was laid on an area of 2,050 square meters. Along with this, “green barriers” were created by planting 1,200 ordinary stonecrops and other ivy plants that grow densely around the yard and can effectively reduce air pollution.

It should be noted that within the framework of the project “Bizim Həyət”, which has been implemented since 2017, 151 total residential areas have been landscaped and put into use by residents to date.
