Khazar district joined the project of the mayor's office

In accordance with the instructions of the president of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev on the expansion of reforms in the communal sphere, the project of collection, transportation and sorting of solid waste in the capital has been successfully implemented by the Baku City executive power for 6 years. The positive results achieved in the implementation of the project, which was initially implemented in Narimanov district, allowed 8 more districts of the capital - Nizami, Nasimi, Yasamal, Khatai, Pirallahi, Surakhani, Binagadi and Sabail-to join this work in stages. The implementation of the project has also begun in the Khazar District of Baku since June 13. In the Khazar district, which has just joined the project, more than 400 container yards have been created as part of the preparatory work. At the initial stage, 2,500 new, modern containers in green and orange colors were installed on these grounds and responsible persons were assigned to the area. Meetings are held in the neighborhoods and courtyards and settlements of Khazar district within the framework of this project, which pays special attention to educating residents. Heads of executive authorities of Baku City and Khazar district, employees of municipal and economic services, youth and volunteers were involved in these works. According to the Memorandum of Cooperation signed between Baku City executive power and “Regional Development” Public Union, the Volunteers of the public union closely support the educational work. In order to explain the project to citizens, employees of relevant agencies and volunteers meet with residents, distribute green and orange packages, explanatory booklets in apartments, and attach educational posters in neighborhoods and blocks of buildings. It should be noted that at the expense of the financial funds allocated by the head of the country for the implementation of the project, 164 new motor vehicles and mechanisms that fully meet modern requirements for Baku City communal services were purchased and put into service, and this process continues. As a result of the measures taken in the communal sphere in recent years, our capital Baku has become a very clean and prosperous city, and the successful implementation of this project will serve to keep Baku clean, protect the environment and public health, form an ecological culture and achieve economic benefits.
