Mass tree planting actions continue in the capital
In connection with the implementation of the decree of the president of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev on the declaration of 2024 as the “year of solidarity for the Green world” in the Republic of Azerbaijan, a tree planting action was held on October 21 in the Yasamal District of the capital in a vacant lot on the side of the highway.
In the capital, drought-resistant plants, trees and shrubs suitable for the local climate are being planted in Baku, contributing to the work on increasing the green areas, restoring the ecological balance and protecting the environment.
Eldar Pines, selected in accordance with climatic conditions, were planted by employees of executive bodies as part of the action held today.
It should be noted that the action is held in all districts of Baku, and during the season, the activities related to planting new trees, shrubs and flowers, caring for greenery and landscaping will continue in the capital.
