Mayor's office held a meeting in Khazar district

In accordance with the instructions of the president of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev on the expansion of reforms in the communal sphere, the project of collection, transportation and sorting of solid household waste carried out by the Baku City executive power for 6 years is now successfully continued. The positive results achieved in the implementation of the project, which was first implemented in Narimanov district, allowed 8 more districts of the capital - Nizami, Nasimi, Yasamal, Khatai, Pirallahi, Surakhani, Binagadi and Sabail to join this work in stages. A few days later, the implementation of the project is planned to begin in the Khazar District of Baku. In this regard, a broad meeting was held at the Khazar district with the participation of the leadership of the executive authorities of Baku City and Khazar District, Heads of communal and economic services of the district, and municipalities. Speaking at the meeting, the head of Baku City executive power Eldar Azizov spoke about the project implemented in the capital for 6 years and said that as a result of the attention and care of the head of state, the material and technical base of Utilities has strengthened in recent years. 164 new motor vehicles and mechanisms that fully meet modern requirements for Baku City utility services have been purchased and put into service. It was noted that thanks to the policy implemented by Mr. President, the level of well-being of the population has increased, and in this regard, people are more concerned about their cities. As a result, the cleanliness of the city of Baku is pleasing to the eye today. The report of the Department of Housing and communal services of Baku City was heard at the meeting, relevant instructions were given on the successful application of this project in Khazar district, which plays an important role in the issues of sanitary cleanliness of the district and the city in general, on giving serious attention to awareness-raising activities among residents, and the It was noted that as a result of the measures carried out in the communal sphere in recent years, our capital Baku has become a very clean and prosperous city. Volunteers of “Regional Development” Public Union will take part in the awareness-raising work to be held in Khazar district, which will join the implementation of the project in the coming days.
