Meetings are held in the capital's districts

In accordance with the instructions of the executive power of Baku City, consultations are held in the districts of the city with the participation of representatives of utilities, Economic Services, departments and organizations, educational institutions, and the private sector on the state of preparation for winter. The main purpose of the meetings was to investigate the state of preparation of the district services for cold winters, especially heavy snowfalls, and the work necessary to be done at this time was discussed. The first meetings were held in Sabunchu, Khatai and Nizami districts of the capital. Heads of departments of Baku City Executive Power, heads of utilities and other services of the city also attended the meetings. It was noted that the Baku City Executive Power appointed a person responsible for each district, who, together with representatives of local executive authorities, checked the readiness of the regions for the winter season, the implementation of the assigned tasks and the work done. It was noted that due to the rainy and frosty weather in the winter months, the headquarters, utilities and economic services and heads of relevant organizations created in the District Executive authorities in connection with winter preparation should be ready for the full fulfillment of their duties on those days. Each institution has as many tools, inventory (loins, shovels, Lings, etc.) as necessary for cleaning snow.) instructions were given on collecting, creating a salt reserve, checking the condition of special equipment. Lists of persons responsible for cleaning streets and neighborhoods in the district from snow were prepared, and it was decided to involve in these works the equipment of utility agencies, as well as existing equipment of administrations, organizations, municipal and private institutions. Also, heads of departments, organizations and private institutions, municipalities, as well as public catering enterprises in the regions were urged to take an active part in cleaning their territories in accordance with the rules adopted in European countries on snowy days.
