Mini football competitions ended in abad neighborhoods of the capital

Baku City executive power, Regional Development Public Union and Baku City Youth and Sports Department jointly organized the Abad inter-quarter mini football tournament covering Baku City districts with the motto “Take strength from victory” dedicated to the 5th anniversary of the glorious victory in the Patriotic War. The main goal of the football competition, which is held among teenagers born in 2013-2014 and consists of 2 stages - district and City Stages, is to strengthen the patriotic spirit in teenagers and young people, promote a healthy lifestyle in them and involve them in sports. Competitions organized in mini-football stadiums in abad neighborhoods, created within the framework of the “Our yard” project implemented in settlements and settlements of the capital on the initiative of Leyla Aliyeva, vice-president of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union, were held on the olimpia system and a total of 1266 teams with 123 teenage athletes participated in the The first round of the tournament ended in the capital's districts until October 24, and then the winners of the district tours competed at the Baku City Stage. The tournament, organized with the participation of national judges, ended with the final matches on October 31. At the beginning of the event, popular singers Chinara Malikzade and Ilhama Gasimova performed before the participants. After the official opening ceremony, the final match was held. In the Final match, the team of Yasamal District met the team of Sabunchu district. The team of Yasamal district, which won with a score of 7: 5, became the winner of the tournament. The winners of the tournament were awarded with honorary diplomas and valuable gifts. At the end of the event, fireworks were held and a photo was taken.
