May 10 marks the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and builder of modern independent Azerbaijan, the brilliant son and National Leader of our people.
The President of the Azerbaijan Republic Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and their family members arrived at the Alley of Honor to visit the grave of the Great Leader.

President Ilham Aliyev laid a wreath at the grave of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, honored the memory of the Great Leader.
The national anthem of the Azerbaijan Republic was played.
First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva and family members paid deep respect to the memory of the National Leader.
Then the Head of our state, the First Lady and their family members laid flowers at the grave of the wife of the Great Leader, an outstanding ophthalmologist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva.
They also honored the blessed memory of the famous statesman Aziz Aliyev and Professor Tamerlan Aliyev.
