Snow removal work continues in the capital
Since February 19, due to the intensive snowfall in Baku, the executive authorities of Baku and the capital regions, and the communal services of the institutions continue to work in an enhanced mode.
Operational measures are being taken in connection with the intensification of the snow falling at night on February 26. In this regard, technical salt was sprinkled on inclined places, streets and avenues with the possibility of landslides by special equipment of the services at night, and this work continues throughout the day. Snow removal work is also carried out on the roads of the surrounding settlement.
During the day, employees of public utilities continue to carry out preventive cleaning of metro stations, bus stops, pedestrian sidewalks, public catering, educational, health and other institutions along the street, sprinkle technical salt on ice-covered places and other cleaning works.
