The next citywide clean-up day held in Baku
On Saturday, May 25, the Baku City Executive Power held another large-scale internal citywide clean-up day in the capital in order to further improve the level of sanitary cleaning of our city.
The Baku City Executive Power carried out washing of the main streets and avenues with detergents harmless to plants and living beings from the morning. During the clean-up day, intra-quarter and intermediate roads were also washed. Employees of the service carried out washing of avenues and streets, sidewalks, curbs and light poles, roadside railings, seats in parks and recreation areas, also cleaning works were carried out in courtyards and residential quarters. In total, 549 streets of the city were washed during the day.
Employees of public catering, trade and other facilities, who joined the call of the Baku City Executive Power, also took an active part in clean-up day. At the same time, collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations, residents of the city took an active part in this day.
Employees of the Baku City Greening Farm Association cleansed the dust and soil from the trees along the main highways and avenues, softened their bottoms, provided agrotechnical care for trees and green areas, and applied natural fertilizers. At the same time, colorful flowers are planted, compositions of flowers of different colors are created, green areas and lawn cover are renewed in parks.
All the measures required to maintain the sanitary cleanliness of the capital at the required level and protect the greenery will be continued.
