The next citywide Clean-up day was held in the capital city of Baku
On Saturday, June 22, the Baku City Executive Power held another large-scale internal citywide clean-up day in the capital in order to further improve the level of sanitary cleaning of our city.
Baku city Executive Power has carried out washing of 550 Main streets and avenues of communal services with detergents harmless to plants and living beings in the morning. During the clean-up day, intra-quarter and intermediate roads were also washed. Employees of the service carried out washing of avenues and streets, sidewalks, curbs and light poles, roadside railings, seats in parks and recreation areas, and cleaning works were carried out in courtyards and residential quarters.
Employees of public catering, trade and other facilities, who joined the call of the Baku City Executive Power, also took an active part in cleaning day, cleaning the showcases of their facilities and creating order around them. At the same time, collectives of enterprises, institutions and organizations, residents of the city also took an active part in this day, residents cleaned the windows of the apartments in which they lived, also the courtyards of buildings.
The employees of the Baku City Greening Farm Association washed the dust and soil collected on the trees on the sides of the main highways and avenues, softened the bottom of them, provided agrotechnical care for trees and green areas, and provided natural fertilizers. At the same time, colorful flowers are planted, compositions of flowers of different colors are created, green areas and lawn cover are renewed in parks.
All the measures required to maintain the sanitary cleanliness of the capital at the required level and protect the greenery will be continued.
