The next extensive cleaning works were carried out in the capital
Large-scale cleaning works were carried out in the capital on Saturday, June 14 by the Baku City executive power in order to further improve the sanitary cleaning level of the city in the summer season. Baku City Executive Power carried out washing of 550 Main streets and avenues of communal services with detergents harmless to plants and living things. During the cleaning work, the inner-quarter and intermediate roads were also washed. Employees of the service carried out washing of avenues and streets, sidewalks, curbs and light poles, roadside railings, seats in parks and recreation areas, and cleaning works were carried out in courtyards and residential quarters. Showcases of public catering, trade and other facilities have been cleaned and tidy has been created around them. Employees of the Baku City Greening Farm Association washed the dust and soil collected on the trees on the sides of the main highways and avenues, softened their bottoms, and provided agrotechnical care for trees and green areas. At the same time, colorful flowers were planted and compositions of flowers of different colors were created to please the residents of the city and guests of our capital. Taking into account the fact that many guests will come to Baku in the summer months, all the measures required to maintain the sanitary cleanliness of the capital at the required level and protect the greenery will be continued throughout the year.
