The next renovated courtyards were commissioned in Baku

On January 8, with the participation of Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva and head of the Baku Media Center Arzu Aliyeva, the renovated courtyards surrounding multi-storey buildings with more than 3,000 residents in Nizami and Khatai districts of the capital were commissioned.
Leyla Aliyeva and Arzu Aliyeva, together with Idea volunteers, participated in tree planting actions held in the courtyards and presented gifts to young residents living in those areas.
As in other landscaped areas within the framework of the” our yard " project, comfortable movement of people with limited health has been taken into account in the reconstructed courtyards, creating favorable conditions for the development of children of all age groups, efficient organization of leisure time of young people and increasing their interest in sports, artificial turf Minifootball Field, various sports facilities, chess At the same time, chat rooms, numerous seats, bird nests and cat houses were installed in the courtyards. In addition, new lighting poles, surveillance cameras were installed in the courtyards, facades and blocks of buildings were completely repaired, asphalt and roofing, power lines were updated. Along with the restoration of the existing greenery on the territory of the yards, various types of trees and shrubs were planted and a green strip was laid. Along with this, “green barriers” were created by planting ordinary stonecrops and other ivy plants in order to prevent air pollution and dense vegetation around the courtyards.
It should be noted that the project “our yard” has been implemented since 2017 on the initiative of the founder and head of IDEA Public Union Leyla Aliyeva. The main goal of the project is to ensure that the courtyards in the capital are ecologically clean and prosperous, restore greenery, form a meaningful recreation environment, and create safe and comfortable living conditions for residents. Within the framework of the” our yard " project, 156 total residential areas have been landscaped and given to the use of residents so far.
