In order to further improve the sanitary and hygienic condition of the capital during the summer season, the Baku City Executive Power carried out another cleaning work in the capital on Saturday, August 9.
Due to the recent extreme heat, the employees of the Baku City Greening Economy Union have been washing trees and greenery on the sides of roads and avenues, providing them with agrotechnical care, and as a preventive measure, diseased trees are removed. All this prevents the greenery from drying out in hot weather.
Taking into account the hot weather, irrigation measures have been carried out in the Central Botanical Garden. Here, agrotechnical care has been provided to trees, dried branches have been cut, and the bottom of the trees has been marked. Public roads have been washed, and cleaning work has been carried out.
Baku City Executive Power's communal services equipment has been washing the main streets and avenues, a total of 548 streets, starting in the morning with detergents that do not harm plants and animals. At this time, the streets and roads within the neighborhood were also washed. In addition, the avenues and streets, sidewalks, curbs and light poles, railings, seats in parks and recreation areas were washed, and cleaning work was carried out in yards and residential areas. The windows of public catering, commercial and other facilities were cleaned, and tidying up was carried out around them.
At the same time, colorful flowers were planted that will delight the residents and guests of our capital, and compositions were created from flowers of various colors.
As part of the current work, disinfection works are being carried out regularly against various diseases, insecticides and fungicides that can spread in trees in the garden area. It should be noted that the disinfectant solutions used do not harm human health.
In general, the next cleaning work covering all districts of the capital contributed to the further beautification of Baku.
