Trees and shrubs that are drought-resistant and suitable for the local climate are planted in the capital
In accordance with the instructions of the country leader Mr. Ilham Aliyev, work is underway to increase the green areas in Baku, restore the ecological balance and protect the environment.
Due to the season, The Greening Farm Association of Baku City executive power is carrying out massive tree planting and greening works in various areas of the capital.
Recently, the diversity of the flora in Baku has been significantly increased, as well as the planting of local tree species adapted to the climatic conditions of the city.
At the same time, due to global climate changes and the threat of water shortages, preference will be given to planting drought-resistant plants, trees and shrubs suitable for the local climate. Furthermore preference will also be given to planting trees and shrubs that bloom in different colors.
The work will be carried out with the participation of experienced landscape designers and specialists.
During the season, Lankaran Acacia, cesalpinia, jumolas, glycinia will be planted in the capital by The Greening Farm Association of Baku City executive power, providing the city with a special beauty that is distinguished by special color shades of red, yellow and white. Also new forms of green corners will be created.
At the initial time, new bushes will be planted in places where our residents are more likely to walk and relax - Central, Winter, Atatürk and Nizami parks also along the main avenues and streets.
Our residents are also advised to plant same trees and shrubs in their own backyard.
