Deputies of the Head of EP
Ayaz Huseynov was born on June 27, 1982, in Baku. He completed his primary and secondary education at secondary school No. 260 in Khatai district between 1989 and 2000. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering from Khazar University (2000–2005) and obtained an MBA in Production and Operations Management from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University (2007–2010).
He began his career in 2004 as a foreman at the "Dəmir-beton məmulatlar" plant. Later, he served as an engineer and deputy head of the technical production department. He served in the military from 2005 to 2006.
Upon completing his military service, he continued his professional career at the "Xəzərdənizneftqaztikinti" Trust as the deputy head of the production planning department, and subsequently, the technical production department (2006–2007). Between 2007 and 2008, he worked as a specialist and later as an engineer at the Investments Department of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). From 2010 to 2018, he held various positions at the SOCAR Headquarters.
Since 2018, he has served as the Head of the City Maintenance Department within the Administration of the Baku City Executive Power.
By the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 3, 2025, Ayaz Huseynov was appointed Deputy Head of the Baku City Executive Power.
He is married and has four children.
